Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, located 505 N. Price Avenue, Prichard, Alabama 36610, is seeking a full-time Pastor; one with a vision who can provide spiritual leadership for the congregation of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. The applicant must be called by God into the ministry to provide spiritual formation and edification through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and biblical teaching. The applicant will demonstrate effective leadership, effective communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Additionally, the applicant shall actively pursue relationships with Deacons and members, visit the sick, shall counsel or refer to biblical counselors as needed, and seek to bring in children and young adults. The applicant must attend prayer and teacher’s meetings and be an unofficial member of all boards and committees. In addition, be visible in the community, promote and uphold the God-honoring reputation of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

The applicant must:
1. Possess all the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.
2. Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Associative Minister or higher
3. Must be a licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist Church
4. Have at minimum, preferably a degree from an accredited college/seminary/or pastoral experience equivalence.
